Repairs & Service
Most track misalignment issues can be resolved within 1-2 hours of our arrival. Our technicians carry common parts and tools, allowing us to complete most repairs on the spot. For severe cases requiring parts ordering, we'll secure your door and return within 24 hours. Track misalignment is one of our most common service calls, so our team is highly experienced in diagnosing and fixing these issues efficiently.
Track misalignment commonly results from several factors: impact damage (such as accidentally bumping the track with a car), loose mounting brackets that have vibrated free over time, worn or damaged rollers that don't track properly, natural settling of your home that shifts the door frame, or debris buildup in the tracks. Regular maintenance helps prevent these issues. Our technicians will diagnose the root cause and provide a permanent fix, not just a temporary solution.
Unusual noises typically indicate worn parts that need attention. Squeaking often means the rollers or hinges need lubrication. Grinding sounds suggest the opener or tracks need adjustment. Loud banging when closing could indicate a broken spring or loose hardware. Rattling often means loose nuts, bolts, or the chain/belt needs tightening. We recommend scheduling a maintenance inspection to identify and resolve noise issues before they become bigger problems.
Standard torsion springs are rated for 10,000-15,000 cycles (one cycle = one open + one close). For a typical household that uses their garage door 3-4 times daily, springs last 7-12 years. However, high-cycle springs rated for 25,000+ cycles are available and recommended for busy households. We always recommend replacing both springs at the same time since they wear evenly and a single broken spring puts extra strain on the remaining one.

Repair costs vary based on the issue. Minor repairs like lubrication and adjustment typically run $75-150. Spring replacement ranges from $150-350 depending on spring type. Panel replacement is $250-800+ per panel. Opener repairs range from $100-300. We always provide upfront, written quotes before beginning any work, so you'll never be surprised by the final bill. We also offer a price-match guarantee if you find a lower quote from a licensed competitor.
We charge a $49 diagnostic fee that covers the technician's visit, inspection, and detailed quote. This fee is waived if you proceed with the recommended repair or service. For emergency after-hours calls, the diagnostic fee is $79 but is still waived if you proceed with service. We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees.
Installation
A standard single-door installation typically takes 3-5 hours. Double-door installations take 5-7 hours. This includes removal and disposal of the old door, installation of the new door and hardware, opener installation or reconnection, safety testing, and cleanup. We complete most installations in a single day. Custom doors or complex installations may require additional time.
The best door depends on your priorities: Steel doors offer the best value and durability. Insulated steel is ideal for attached garages to improve energy efficiency. Wood doors provide classic beauty but require more maintenance. Fiberglass doors resist rust and dents and work well in humid climates. Aluminum doors are lightweight and modern but dent more easily. We offer free consultations to help you choose the perfect door for your home, climate, and budget.
Emergency Services
Yes! We provide true 24/7 emergency service, 365 days a year. Our average emergency response time is 30 minutes within our primary service area. We understand that a garage door emergency can compromise your home's security, so we prioritize getting to you quickly. There are no overtime charges for emergency calls – just our standard $79 diagnostic fee (waived if you proceed with service).
We consider these situations emergencies: door stuck open (security risk), door stuck closed trapping a vehicle, broken spring making the door inoperable, door off the tracks, break-in damage requiring immediate repair, and any situation that compromises home security. If you're unsure, call us – we'll help you determine the urgency and best course of action.
Warranty & Guarantee
We offer a comprehensive 5-year warranty on all labor and installation work. Manufacturer warranties on parts vary: springs typically carry 1-3 year warranties, openers have 1-5 year warranties, and doors themselves often have 10-20 year warranties. We stand behind our work with our "risk-free guarantee" – if you're not satisfied, we'll make it right at no additional cost.
Our satisfaction guarantee means if you're not completely happy with our work for any reason, we'll return and make it right at no extra charge. This applies to installation quality, repair effectiveness, cleanup, and overall service experience. We want every customer to be a repeat customer and referral source, so we go above and beyond to ensure your complete satisfaction.
